*Co-manage the fueling stations within Littlejohn Coliseum, learning how to recruit, train, manage, and schedule workers; conduct product inventory and ordering; and create menus. Develop nutrition materials, cooking classes, and cooking demos to provide SAs with strategies to optimize their fueling.
*Lead nutrition-focused sport science and data initiatives with assigned teams, including hydration, sweat rate, and body composition testing, while utilizing apps to help educate SAs and monitor their goals. Create reports to share data-led recommendations with the sport performance team.
*Work collaboratively with the team physicians and other allied health care professionals. Actively participate in medical and staffing meetings.
*Assist teams with travel and home competition menu review.
*Ensure accurate and thorough record keeping and documentation. Assist with other nutrition and administrative duties as assigned. Adhere to and carry out established policies and procedures.
*Potential for some road competition travel with teams as well as supervision of home competitions

*Ability to work independently and follow through on assignments with minimal direction.
*Ability to work a non-standard workweek including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
*Other duties: Perform other program duties as assigned by the Director of Basketball Performance Nutrition
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position is responsible for assisting in the supervision of undergraduate interns in basketball nutrition related areas.
Compliance with the rules and regulations of the University, the NCAA, the Atlantic Coast Conference, the State of South Carolina and any other governing body is of paramount importance to the University. The overall responsibility of this position is for the successful operation of the program in full compliance with all such rules and regulations.
Minimum Requirements:
Must be accepted to a graduate program at Clemson University
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in both clinical and performance nutrition settings. Previous experience working with disordered eating and/or eating disorder clients. Interest in sports science.
