Sports Performance & Eating Disorder Dietitian

Position Description:

As a Dietitian at Kindred Nutrition you will work with our Eating Disorder, Medical Nutrition Therapy, and Sports Performance patients to provide nutrition counseling, support, and team collaboration

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct Initial and Follow Up Nutrition Counseling sessions and provide individualized plans for clients.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team which includes physicians, therapists, psychiatrists, and more.
• Assist with collaborating team in identifying possible diagnosis and treatment protocols
• Document counseling through our EMR
• Work with our interns to assist with providing notes for communication to multidisciplinary team, or requesting diagnosis’ for clients or lab procedures.
• Refer clients to our support groups as appropriate
• Assist with creation and leading of support groups and cooking classes with our consulting Personal Chef

Position Requirements:

• Education: BS in Nutrition and Dietetics
• Licensure/Affiliation - Candidates must be Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration and licensed in the state of Maryland
• Experience - At least 1 year of experience in the outpatient setting
